Message from the Chief,

On behalf of the officers of the Seymour Police Department, I welcome you to our website.  I hope it will provide you with information and insight regarding the duties and services we provide to the Seymour community.

Although we are a small, semi-rural department, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, training, thoroughness and other traits normally attributed to much larger departments.

Our department is committed to serving the residents of Seymour by:

  • Maintaining peace and order for all citizens

  • Preventing crime

  • Protecting life and property

Our City Leaders, in partnership with my officers and I, strive to maintain Seymour as a safe and enjoyable place to live, work and visit.

Please take some time to check out the rest of our page and if you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Ron Wright
Chief of Police
Seymour, MO
